Comfortable family home in leafy Cape Town City Bowl below the majestic Table Mountain

Mountain’s Edge is a superbly kept, comfortable family home situated in the quiet, leafy City Bowl suburb of Oranjezicht, below the majestic Table Mountain. The house is centrally situated, within 30 minutes of the airport and 10 – 15 minutes to the vibrant Kloof Street, the Camps Bay and Clifton beaches and Cape Town’s well-known culinary playground.

Entering the property from the street level, there are a few stairs that leads past a beautiful garden with the mountain in the background, to the front door. The wide entrance hall leads to the large open plan dining/lounge area, from where double doors open onto the patio.

Both living rooms have a full PVR Digital Satellite TV on big screens with DVD players. There is a wood fire place in the living room. The bright living/ dining area opens out to an indoor/ outdoor living area and stoep/patio. The pool is set in a beautiful garden with large grass area which is comfortable under bare feet, to bathe in the sun or to enjoy dinner at the outdoor entertaining beneath the patio.

The kitchen is large with a very comfortable dining table for cozy meals and drinks. This opens to the same patio as the lounge/dining. The house has three bedrooms and can accommodate either 4 adults and 2 children or 6 adults and 2 children.

The master bedroom upstairs has wonderful views of the front garden and perspective of Table Mountain. It is en-suite to a small, private lounge and en-suite bathroom with both bath and shower. It is furnished with a King-size, extra length bed. The second upstairs bedroom has two twin beds, which can be converted to a King-size bed, an en-suite with a shower, and overlooks the back garden and pool with views of the city and mountain.

Stairs from the kitchen leads to the pool garden and the third bedroom. This downstairs bedroom is an airy and relaxing space with a double bed and a light en-suite bathroom with shower. There is a kitchenette of the downstairs bedroom which is ideal for serving drinks onto the patio next to the pool.

There is full security and an alarm system. The pool does not have a pool net. Housekeeping Monday to Friday.
